Unfortunately, she's been trying the same kinds of cover-ups and "managed numbers" strategies that worked at Lucent during the bubble. Old dog, same old tricks. In the post-Enron world, those tricks are no longer acceptable. I think both of them are gone within a year. Somebody new will have to pick up the pieces, disclose the full truth to investors and try to make something of the reality. I suspect this merger will end up right up there with AOL/TWX in terms of the value that will need to be written off in the end. Michael
