Are you as understanding of how the Holocaust might account for various of the atrocities of the Irgun? Of how the fact that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem supported Hitler might have helped to poison Arab/Jewish relations? Of how the enmity expressed by the Arab League, and determination to "drive the Jews into the sea", which most Palestinians at that point seemed to support, might have led to regarding the Palestinians as a "fifth column"? Of how years of terrorist bombing, including the deliberate targeting of schoolbuses, might have hardened Israeli attitudes towards the Palestinians?
By the way, do you think that thugs in LA and New York are right to bash immigrants, who disproportionately settle in such cities, are let into the country by a remote Federal government, and frequently seem to be more successful than those already here? Do you think that those who blame immigrants for taking jobs, or resent them for opening businesses, would be "understandable" if they firebombed their homes?
What do you think "explains" the prevalence in the Arab world of dictatorship, brutality, and the massacre of ethnic minorities, like the Kurds? Do you want to blame that on the Jews or the Imperialists, too? |
