Already been defended once today.

After earnings announcments are over, market will drift according to public sentiment. Judging by the thread, it could be negative tone but they do tend to change their mind quite easily.

RE middle east. It seems clear that one does defend or attack something that they covet or desire. Based upon that impression I have, it seems that Sharon only wants most or all of West Bank for Israel and not Gaza Strip. Stock market will react accordingly in June to peace summit results. Either Arab league agrees to sell out the bulk of the Palestinans to Gaza exile or Arabs take a hard line anti Israel boycot position.
Not too much middle ground IMO.
