Close, but no cigar. AMD has been breaking investors hearts with 'close' for far too many years... But Intel hasn't. The point I was trying to make is that if a stretched-x86 commodity architecture emerges that is backed by both Intel and AMD (replacing the Itanic on the Intel side) which I now believe is likely, then the complexion of the market changes. --QS
