I hope I am not the only one who understood your remark about the Washington Post and New York Times to be a joke. I think maybe your sense of humor is a lot like mine, because I got it.
Well, CB, I think a couple of things are going on. I sometimes don't underline my comments as meant to be funny. I need to learn to do a better job of that. But, second, and to me much more serious, is that we are moving toward a thread posting war in which posters comments are taken out of context, twisted a half turn or so, turned back on them, and then spun as much worse.
I still see that sort of tactic as low level noise, however. Hope it stays there.
