They announced a subscription rental plan trial. So you can rent unlimited video's over a set time.

Video on demand offered by cable doesn't require a visit to a store or payment of late fees and therefore has long been seen as a threat to Blockbuster's long- term business. Mr. Antioco said in the interview that "the more innovative things we do, the easier we make it for people to access Blockbuster for movies [and] the bigger a deterrent [it is] to video on demand and pay-per-view." He acknowledged on the analysts' call that late fees are very unpopular with consumers. The company has said in the past that late fees account for 15% of its revenue, but it no longer discloses the proportion
