That's true, but until the universe punishes you for making that assumption it doesn't really matter. The fact is, you can invent any crazy, loony reason for the sun rising in the morning, and it really doesn't matter because the sun WILL rise in the morning. You will not be punished for your crazy reasoning because you have the right answer.

Now, if you apply your rising-sun-logic to another field and the universe whacks you upside the head, that's a different issue.
