Macro Picture: Personally, I buy & sell mutual funds rather than stocks, because I'm operating within a variable annuity. Although tempted a bit today, I'm holding my final 20% cash to see what happened re mutual fund cash flows as the Market declined. The prior week's flows (contrarian indicator) were hugely positive for a single week, but the 4 week mov ave wasn't that strong. I'm hoping/expecting to see a sharp reduction in inflows in the AMG Data report tonight. Also, I'd like to see an upturn in Long-Term Business Expectations for the broad Market. There's been a letup in negative news, but not much positive news about the long-term either.
