Good post there on the MAXF advantage. Try looking too at the direct competitor ICAP, listed in the UK. Identical business, though without Maxcor's new leveraged finance offshoot. Mkt cap Stg800m, P/E 19, revs Stg400m.
I punted out a few shares at 7.80, and bought back today at 7.35. Wow. Don't want to get caught not being long.
If anybody's interested, I'll post the full ICAP fundies in the morning. As I say, Intercapital own Garban, a direct competitor to Eurobrokers, so the biz is identical, even if the business plan and valuation isn't. Probably a more direct comparison than a Soundview/other equity-based house.
PS NFI is still a bit of a stormer. Just wish I'd bought it at any stage really. B**ger.
