I'm a long way from Carmi. They did some exploring in my area but no oil was found. I'd rather have 350 acres of oil pumps than soybeans and corn. In Illinois the cut is in 16ths. The landowner gets 1/16th of the production but can buy in for more. Most do. That's in Illinois, please don't go on about what they get in Bunghole, Kentucky.
