... so it was Sharon who was stupid, and Arafat who was brilliant ... interesting argument (and I will read the article) ... but, as I said, it is the "settlements" that are the really big issue, and Sharon and his party are dead set against giving them up as they would be in the newly created state of Palestine ...

... let's be objective ... there are block heads on both sides ...

... but now we have serious pressure from Saudi Arabia ... "we will not use oil as a weapon" ... right, not until they decide to actually do it ... and I am not saying they will do it ... but if they decide that only the "oil card" will get them what they want (a Palestinian State) ... then they will do it, because they will have Europe and the U.S. at their knees in short order ... actually, I do not know why they will not do it ... they will be heroes in the Arab and Moslem world ... and take some pressure off their own government from their own citizens ...

... I wish I could decide if I think they will use the oil card, because I trade futures, and would go long oil and gold, and short the dollar ... but it is purely a speculative and dangerous trade ...
