Rock phosphate and dolomite limestone are both considered 'organic fertilisers', and used in finely-ground form by many including myself ... in this sense 'organic' is taken to mean 'free from harmful chemicals' ... so to use a steel hoe to kill weeds in lieu of spraying some synthetic [though by scientific classification 'organic'] herbicide, would be an 'organic' solution
