Yields aren't quite as secret as people make them out to be. You want to know Intel's yields? Use them as your foundry.

I don't think I have the money it would take to use them as foundry to find out. So I will stick to cheaper method that everyone around here is using - guessing based of little or no info.

Here goes one (guess): Since Intel is having periodic shortages with ample capacity, my guess that Intel's yields are either not quite World Class, or that World Class yields for high end CPUs are much lower than some people assume.
