David Nassar - Goals

Do you have goals, daily, weekly, monthly goals that you try to follow? If not, then stop trading!

My goals are based on discipline, staying disciplined, not based on profits. I believe that profits take care of themselves. Results take care of themselves. If you do the right things, the results will come to you. I set goals on discipline. I look at where I got into a trade, and ask myself, "Did I really do the right thing here?" There's many times where I've lost money but did the right thing, and felt very good for it. There's many times where I've made money, by doing the wrong things. Like averaging down a trade when I know I shouldn't have. It happened to work out for me. But I knew I was trading badly. P&L is the byproduct of how well you did everything, and that's what I try to focus on.
