COGNICASE Announces Departure of Chief Financial Officer
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--APRIL 26, 2002 - 08:00 EDT
Mr. Ronald Brisebois, Chairman of the Board,
President, and Chief Executive Officer and of COGNICASE Inc. (TSE:
"COG", Nasdaq: "COGI"), an innovative IT solutions provider
specializing in the development and integration of transactional
solutions, announced today that John Valentini, Executive
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, has made the decision
to leave the company to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Valentini
is expected to remain with the company until the investors'
conference call scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at 10:00 am.
(Eastern Time) to present the company's Fiscal Year 2002 second
quarter results. Mr. Michel Demers, Director of Finance of the
company, will assume the CFO functions until a replacement is
found.
