Earlie, They are still trying to convince me that "transactional business" is wrong and that clients only want to know about my "process" and how much I "care for them." Shoot, my clients would scream "stalker!" and call a cop if I said, "I really care about your future." Or, "performance doesn't matter. I have a disciplined process."

There have been some disappointments. I thought I could buy options in IRAs when I signed on, and I can't. And that has been a big one. I can do managed futures, but not real futures, in IRAs, and that's another bugaboo. But, in general, when I see my buddies hemmed in by "we buy large cap value" or "mid cap core", whether the sector is grossly overpriced or not, I don't complain as much about my constraints.
