I am just cynical about environmentalists :-) They are sure to find a desert version of the snail darter to crimp your plans. Actually I like fuel cells and believe in hydrogen. But if you want it to happen quickly - you might use hydrocarbons with the fuel cells (or at the gas station). Being cynical comes from seeing environmental policy being absurd. Some studies have shown as much as 50% of pollution comes from 7% of the cars - old cars that should be retired. However the enviro-lobby attacks SUV's and manufacturers for incremental improvements. Do a google search on 'pollution and old cars'. Keep the faith, John
