People told Thomas Edison the light-bulb was ridiculous too. People told people driving the first automobiles they were crazy. People also told Edison his motion picture machine was nutty. People laughed at those who predicted an internet. No one thought we could get to the moon. Etc. etc. etc... Apparently you don't believe in the progressive strength of the American Spirit. Don't look backward and close your mind, look forward and see the potential. Besides, if we don't solve our major problems now it will just be catch up later. 9/11, a direct result of our oil-based society. Bring that reliance down 50% in 10 years and we can F the Arabs. And be richer and cleaner at the same time.
