Spent the last week on the Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto run visiting customers. Here's some highlights... 1. I still can not believe how much inventory is still in the channel for the telco equipment mfg's. The bottom IS NOT in yet.. 2. No sign of any life or upturn in business at Nortel, JDS or Alcatel. 3. Due to the amount of inventory still around, I'm looking at the electronic distributors for possible shorts. My ideas are Avnet or Arrow. These companies haven't come clean yet. Airports are getting crowded again. Arrggggh
