What exactly is AB? And Gizzi Scan?
AB = AmiBroker, very powerful (and affordable) charting, backtesting, et.al, program - home page amibroker.com or www.amibroker.net Better than MS, TS, GET, younameit, IMHO - but I'm biased as a user for the past year. AB just went real time this AM (eSig data feed) - development and support is incredible. Very active user group (which developer Tomasz monitors and contributes to) at groups.yahoo.com - lots of very good folks there.
Gizzi scans = stock scanning screens for gizzard plays (pressure drop, shoe drop, poppers, . I'm a trader who codes his own indicators, scans and such. Have been writing indicators and scans for myself and friends for years in WOW (now defunct), MS, BITM, QP, TC2K, and now AB and eSig's new formula engine. Used to post a lot of picks here, but have been on a vacation from SI for a while pursued some other projects and limited my computer time to please my bride. (Later is a very good investment.)
