it has nothing to do with negotiations...is has to do with taking when you don't need to.

If you want to use a similar analogy....consider the car dealer that adds on options that cost little, like a paint protector, yet charges 600$ for the "job".....or the finance guy that increases the % simply because he knows you won't walk from the deal.....or simply when they charge you 4 hours because the "book" says that's how long a mechanic will need to do the job....but of course they have done the same job so many times that they can always get it done in 3 hours...yet...they don't charge for 3 hours....
