George: I have no choice on this one. Both the Rydex and ProFund funds which index the Nasdaq use the NDX 100 rather than the QQQ's or the Nasdaq Comp. If I had a choice I, too, would leverage the QQQ's to capture the small cap and mid-cap sectors.

Actually, this may not be all that bad, in this case. Both the mid-cap and small-cap indices are near their 52-week high, the carnage has been in the large caps (NDX 100) stocks. During any rebound, these will come back faster and further.
