Israel has every right to ensure that those who are going to investigate/judge it are objective and non-biased, as well as being qualified to conduct a proper investigation..

Nope, they have every right to complain, to try to restructure, to do whatever, but they don't have the right to actually pick the judges. And if they succeeded in doing so, it would be self defeating. Because, then, no one would believe the results.

It's best for the Israelis if they just make their objections as loudly as possible, lose, let the investigation go forward, then if they think it's rigged, use their earlier objections to try to strengthen their own narrative.
