Sometime ago I was trying to get this point across to the technical experts on the thread. There have been some great hints and efforts to guide people to enlightenment but they seem to fail. I think probably for two reasons;

1. Even if you hit some over the head with a brick of facts, it will not penetrate into their skulls.

2. Assumed knowledge of the techno facts and lingo. Some of the items that are being posted just are not clear enough to help people that are not in the industry or involved in a specific job. If you are an enthusiast and read all the web you still won't get it. Kinda like going to college graduating an engineer then finding out you don't know jack about being an engineer your first day on the job.

I admit I don't help in the effort; I don't have the time to commit to this (or patience!). I do think this thread should be a learning tool. I used to really believe that SI was about a group of investors getting together and as a group trying to fit the pieces together to determine a companies investment worth. A leveling of combined knowledge.
