Next time I'll be more careful and more specific
I only follow a few things and don't get myself too involved in the Geology, where I have no training or expertise. You're obviously a more hands on the property type of guy. This situation is beginning to look more like a potential winner as you say.Cheers

*** OT ***Trevor Martin (SI handle .Trev) has passed away. This is the most difficult post that I have ever written, but Trev truly touched so many of us on SI that it is only fitting to have a loving tribute in his honor here. Nothing sad (he would've hated tears and I've already used up enough tissues), just a straight from the heart little talk about him and his time on SI. I met Trev when I bought into WSP (Winspear) at under $1. Through PMs and emails, he kept my hopes alive and when I finally sold out at over $5, I honestly had him to thank for giving me the conviction to hold through all the twists and turns.Trev and I could not have appeared any more different. He was an older gentleman who had already raised a family and was now living alone, but so young at heart that he simply loved zipping around exploring the Internet and opening up his mind to new ideas. I am a just a stay-at-home Mommy of two babies who happens to enjoy trading. Yet, ever since that first PM was exchanged, we were thrilled to discover that in this vast realm of cyber-space, we were kindred spirits that had serendipitously managed to find each other. We shared so many similar values and view-points that his regular emails were always a pleasure to read. He sent me interesting articles, told me stories about his family and made me laugh with his gentle but wicked humor. He was the voice of experience, always telling it as it was, helping me to look beyond the daily difficulties of simply being a Mommy to seeing the greater picture of what a wondrous gift it is to be a parent preparing little people for their rightful place in the world. He loved using his mind and being different from the crowd and his last post proves that loud and clear
Message 15297158 In this spirit, he really wanted to learn to trade, but his regret was that there were too many other interesting things for him to do during the day. So instead, he just dabbled, but he insisted on keeping up with all the information online and checking out the latest thoughts of so many of SI's top traders. He told me to go to ISpec and meet with Teresa and Jerry, telling me that he'd already checked them out and that he approved of their integrity, intelligence and trading styles. His keen eye followed Bobby, Susan and Connor right to their new thread and he made it a point to keep posting there because he loved following their thought process. He followed Sir Realist as well because he had been like a child in a candy store when he had found success with a few of Sir R's picks. He was active on the BWAY thread because he believed that was an undervalued play and I think that he was probably in the process of DDing Conquistador Mines (CMG) since he also posted there. In our last few emails, Trev remarked that our friendship was becoming scarier and scarier (in a nice way, he hastened to add). We had gotten to the stage where we didn't need wireless because we were working with vibes! LOL! It seemed that everytime I thought of him, and vice versa, there would be an email waiting in the inbox. Well, on Sunday, February 4th, I kept thinking of Trev but there was no message. When I finally put the babies to sleep at around 1:00 a.m., I checked and still no message so I logged onto SI and found that Trev had been posting earlier that evening, but something still kept niggling at me. Finally, yesterday evening, his daughter, Pat, called me. They hadn't been able to contact Trev for a few days and so they had gone to his home. They found him slumped over his computer. He had suffered a massive stroke while posting on SI Sunday night. In the midst of her own grief, Pat found time to call me because Trev had talked about me to her. And she found the heart to comfort me even though I was, in essence, a total stranger to her. I believe that this simple but magnanimous gesture proves the generosity of spirit that Trev valued and passed onto his children.Pat said that Trev had neatly printed and collected all the emails and PMs that he had ever received from his online friends. He treasured these friendships. And, because of that, I offered to write this tribute on SI in his honor.I never got the chance to meet Trev in person, but he was so much more than simply a cyber friend to me. He was a father figure, mentor, sounding board and cheerleading squad all rolled up in one. I, and those who met him online, will miss him greatly and always consider ourselves fortunate to have shared his remarkable journey. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated.
207.112.34.76. Please make your gift in memory of Trevor Martin with the acknowledgement to be sent to his daughter, Mrs. Pat Awmack. Please PM me for Pat's address.Cheers,Sue
