LOWER! Why? 2 things I've been harping on for months: Telecom capex and IT budget. Market keeps beating on the cash cows (telecom) and expect networkers and semis to do well? Forget it. They're dreaming. IT budget is getting very tight since 2001. Why? They're looking for ROI now more than ever before. After that spending for Y2K and Internet projects, companies are asking what have you done for me lately. I'm going to add one more key point to the confusion: Consumers budget. This time, it ain't there. More layoffs from old economy companies and that ain't good at all. The're killing another cash cow. We're going back to 70's time my friend. Prepare for it. I have Dow 7000 and Nasdaq 1100...
