The only threat that I made was to expose the truth. Someone made a statement saying he lost "HUGE SUMS OF MONEY FOLLOWING MY LONG CALLS DURING THE BULL MARKET". I take that as an attack and requested proof. None was offered, so I threatened to expose this person with the truth.
The first question any reasonable person should ask after reading that exchange is: "If my LONG calls during the Bull market on PMCS, JDSU, ETEK, OCLI and JNPR were so bad, why would this person continue following them as he suggested he did. Second: When looking at the charts of these companies, finance.yahoo.com that all went from single digits to hundreds of dollars, then one would also find it difficult to understand where anyone COULD possibly loose huge sums of money going long these stocks during the bull market tech rally of that time. Third, why could this person, not remember even one trade that I called where he lost money. Sounds extremely suspect.
I sent you proof that this person lied, I exposed him to you in private. Rather then boot him, for causing trouble and lying, as I suggested you might consider given proof of his lies, you instead censored me, and took away my ability to defend myself from further attacks.
In one final note, our site IS free, but yes, we are evolving into a nominal fee based room. Looking at the two calls that were made in your room that started all this, IE holding OSIS from 24 to 17, while we went long at 17, and sold at 21, and your SSs on OVER where we were long, 26 to 35, is a perfect example of "getting what you pay for" and adds strength to our case.
Your response thro e-mail emphatically supports exactly why I lost respect for you. I thought you were one of the few who I had admired in this occupation, and I had regarded you as one of the few having a higher moral and ethical standard, but no longer. I now see you for what you really are.
As you said in your email after I demonstrated that this person had lied: "I do not wish to waste my time on you. You are not worth it. I have better things to do."
Then the feeling is mutual.
