Any time anyone wants your money but can't prove the goods even exist or ever will, you should run for the door.
Speaking of scams, I received a subpoena yesterday- -uh, as a witness, not perpetrator. I was one of the intended scammees. Fortunately, before I signed anything, I noticed that, while I had been told something verbally, it was nowhere in writing. Since it was a very important point, I headed for the door. Seems that the plaintiff wants me to tell the court what happened. Trial should be in about a month. |
