Hi S, It appears the market is attempting to flush out the speculators once again.
aim-users.com

The last time this indicator dropped to the Bullish range we managed to pull off a solid 33% NASDAQ rally (post 9/11). No reason to think it can't happen again. Last week there were still 5 stocks listed with more than 100% gains in the last 13 weeks in Value Line. So, Speculation isn't dead, but it's not breathing well, either.

Cumulative Breadth of the NYSE has been much better than on the NASDAQ. Money seems to still be shifting from four letter stocks to three. Of course money can flow either direction and sector shifts are a wondrous sight.

I'm considering a shift to Exchange Traded (Sector Index) Funds for quite a bit of my portfolio. My intent is to let each sector be its own driving force. For instance, the Biotech Index is way off it's Jan 1st levels. The U.S. Energy Index is actually up for the YTD.

Any way, I may choose a pure TECH index fund in place of my Q's and then a biotech index fund and maybe a health care index fund as separate entities. EAch I'll manage separately.

Best regards, Tom
