I don't know, it was presented as one of a number of alternate factors for a divergence between $BPNDX and $BPCOMPQ.

I don't follow financials although quite a few have popped up on my scans for high PS stocks. Do you know if there is a justification for financial stocks having a high PS, or do you think they are just overvalued as a group, compared to the rest of the market?
