The one good thing of this would be that Siemens is effectively saying that it wants to get into CDMA, a get headstart by buying MOT's chip and not having to develop one from scratch. Another vendor on the block. That is good. However, MOT's license is not transferable, so this would mean that Siemens is definitely getting closer to signing a licensing deal with QCOM. I like it!
