Good point it seems kind of irrational and wimpy of God to want this. "I find it difficult to believe that a god would want worship from inferior whiney human beings. What's the point? God is omnipotent and knows it."</> Maybe try it this way. God gave us the ability to pray and worship because it is good for us and God is a benevolent creator. Wants are a specific form of needs. Omnipotence places God above needs. We need strength in our souls so we pray and worship to obtain strength. God does not need us to pray.
