Shareholder equity (less other assets $900 mil - which I assume is mostly goodwill from acquisitions) is down to about $1.50/share

Not a pretty picture. Of course the numbers alone don't do justice to the intellectual property of VTSS but the #s don't lie. Last quarter they lost $45 million from operations - so their cost structure was double their current revenue. The industry they sell to is in the depths of a cap ex spending depression, with little for an optimist to hang his or her hat on.
