Sorry it took so long, but I had to track down the article. It was a positive piece, and I remember EAGL being up the morning it came out. EAGL was featured on the New America page (A3) of the July 3rd IBD. The headline read: NEW DESIGN ------------------------ Eagle Hardware Building Stores That Stand Up To Home Depot Over the last few years, several home improvement chains have gone out of business. They simply couldn't compete with Home Depot Inc., the undisputed industry leader. Yet, one home improvement retailer has managed not only to survive, but thrive.
