RR: We do have 2 Canada Geese hanging around the pond. Don't know if they're gonna stay for a while or not.

About my 29 year old gelding... He must have been gelded "late". I normally keep him in a separate pasture, but yesterday, I temporarily put him in my riding arena with 2 mares and a yearling.

Sparks flew! The old guy immediately assumed the stallion posture: Head low, and ears back, charging...

I had to separate them or else somebody was going to get kicked!

Now, he doesn't act that way when he's ridden and other horses are around. (Good thing!)

The herd behavior of horses is a fascinating thing...

Ah, well... back to work
