Yield is inverse to the price. The bonds are selling at such a discount to face that the yield has risen to 20%. It means that only those willing to hold "junk" will take a flyer on them. Notice the dividend yield on this, the tracking stock for MCI Group: finance.yahoo.com Not a lot of confidence they'll make that payment.
