There's nothing to explain it that I can see, just
manipulation/conspiracy theories.

Does anyone know where a conf call replay is available?
Maybe there was something in there to explain this...?

You know, it's been a long time since I've bought tech with
a long term horizon, and it's hard to imagine a story
getting better than this.., fundamentally. Possible reasons
to sell:
- insider selling
- belief that move to DVD is transitory?
- belief that competition will ruin the story (crus, lsi)

Bigger picture, in past years I have seen the semis move
together, inexplicably, so it could be semi funds lightening
up...?

The most obvious conspiracy theory is that some fund or
funds want to stop people out so they can get the shares
cheap...

Personally, I've not been in a mood to make electronic
purchases but am feeling pressure to get a dvd player. If
you've been in blockbuster lately you've seen the VHS is
getting moved out, not too slowly. So I see dvd players
as a huge trend. By the time DVD recorders get rolled out
I can't imagine a bigger tech trend.., said with a straight
face, and a 15% loss so far.

So now the 'proof' is in. Great numbers. Improving share
of a growing market. Estimates going up.., a perfect time
to sell.

This 'tech is bad' trend can't last..., but it can last way
longer than makes any sense. My problem is that I'm hooked
on the story and the valuation.

What's a tech guy to do? Buy a restaurant stock with a
parabolic chart?
