If you take the entire output of the FASL fabs, you must add Fujitsu's allocation of the production as well. And when you add AMD's and Fujitsu's flash production together, it exceeds Intel's. Yet it takes Intel with over 7x the capacity to produce 3.5x the chips.

Dear Pete, would you mind showing us how you come to this conclusion? How many chips is Intel making? I work directly with Intel and I can't figure it out so I'm really interested in seeing how you manage to do it.

Of course, You, Elmer and others fail to ever see that a simple explanation exists.

Lot's of simple explanations exist. We're looking for the correct explanation. You should try it.

That both AMD and Intel plan for so many wafer starts and neither are running at their current capacities. If Intel ran at full capacity in today's market, they would lose money hand over fist as much of the production would be thrown away.

Sorry Pete but you don't know what you're talking about.
