Vip. (and this is the truth). Re: COO, no, they haven't. I don't hear ANYTHING about any ad campaign. WHY THEY HAVE NOT PLAYED UP THE IBM deal is BEYOND (WAYYYYYYY beyond me ...). Quite frankly, I don't know what the hell they are doing.

I have two things I'm doing.

1. I bought 2000 additional at 6 7/8 two weeks ago. Any, A-N-Y spike to 8 or 9 - I am out with that.

2. The remaining, I'm going to wait until Nov-Dec, and then "that's it". I'm gone. I have more than enough to wash the loss with CPQ, ORCL, SUNW, INTC and MSFT right now. My broker says wait till Nov. OK, I'll wait. Then I gotta get out of this nuthouse. BTW, this was MY pick in 95. MINE. Nobody's but mine.

As Alphonse is a contrarian (and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that), people make money that way too.

But, I KNOW I can make up the losses a lot quicker (and then some) with the rest of the market.

You know, a couple of people emailed me over the last few days asking me --- "Hey! what happened to the Novell stuff on your web page?", etc..

Know what I told em'?

I gave up.

I just don't understand this mentality. I just don't. I tried to get positive again. I really did. But, like I said, I don't know what the hell they are doing (or THINK they are trying to do). It's like "all of them" crawled under a rock or something like that.

I would LOOOOOVEEEE to be a fly on the wall in one of their "strategy meetings". Just to hear the dialog. Know what I mean?

This is an honest post. Not one chock full of info, but honest nonetheless.

Regards,

Joe...
