Bonder utilization at their customers was 67% last
quarter and is expected to be over 70% this quarter. K&S is sold out of bonders for their fiscal third quarter. The gross margin should see a sharp move upward as the new Maxum bonder ramps and the company gets the volume leverage in the fourth (September) quarter.


UTEK presents tomorrow AND it is not on "Cary's List" but that news should also be very good for UTEK's solder bump stepper business where there is no credible competition for what they can do in volume. UTEK is low on Don's PEG table so the upside can be huge compared to AMAT or others...

Of course I agree with Cary that UTEK is not of the same quality as an AMAT or MXIM or ALTR, but it does have IP in those solder bump steppers and a huge future market...
