Tim, there are biased people and biased beliefs in every religion. Its an unfortunate fact. People use phrases from the Bible, the Koran and the Talmud to prove this point over and over again....in an effort, to make one religion less pious, less good than another. Recently, quotes have been lifted from the Koran or are alleged to have been lifted from the Koran in order to prove that the Muslims are prejudiced against the infidels. These representations are intended to fuel the fear and hatred that currently exists in non Muslim populations. Unfortunately, in too many cases they have worked......people buy into it out of their fear and ignorance.

From my experience, I firmly believe that its not the authors of the Bible or the Koran or the Talud who are biased but rather the people who are the ones who present these quotes as proof of another religion's evilness. And I also have learned its fruitless to try and argue with them..........their hate is pretty much locked in for the duration. FWIW!
