I didnt see that!! argh.. is it still available at newstands? This has been a personal peev of mine for some time... Not to excuse drug use/dealing, but lets be real.. a kid growing up in NYC.. parents dont speak english.. Decides to stop going to school and has a choice- sell drugs? work in mcdonalds? obvious choice.. Joins a gang, in and out of Juvi, by time hes 18? slam- the process starts and we start paying for his food/clothing.. Now on the other hand, lets look at Enron.. Ivy leaque school graduates, Friends in the highest levels of our government, salaries making more than most common folk will ever see in their entire lifetime of hard labor... IM preaching to the choir, but its sorta sickening that it will never get resolved simply because the same people who are responsible for holding them accountable are the same people playing golf/accepting donations from these folks. all opinions of course.. important to stress that : )
