Don't blame Eliza. My fault. I commented on the political
uncertainties in investing. My experience re Russia has
left me very, very cautious. I've been to Cuba. I've met
people from Sherritt. The deal re Canadian miners seems
fine. It is the Cubans who get the short end because
the Canadians pay the govt. in dollars and the Cubans
get paid in pesos. Read the history of investing in
China and you'll immediately sell the stock of any company
"investing" in China.

Anyway, I'll drop it as I don't want to disrupt the thread.
My point was simply that politics is always a difficult
risk factor to properly equate in investing.
