I have new account documents and a check, on my desk, ready to be mailed to Datek.
Your troubles indicate strongly that Datek is understaffed, inconsiderate and very short of financial management. My new account forms are going into the round file right now. I'll stick with my regular broker. Piece of mind is worth more than the savings(if any) with Datek. This closes the Datek thread for me.
