From OXY re Elk Hills well test: biz.yahoo.com "Today, I'm announcing the successful testing of our first deep gas well in California. Last week the 18,000 foot deep Thunderball well, which was drilled on property adjacent to Elk Hills, achieved a flow rate of 14 million cubic feet per day with a choke of 18/64th inch at a flowing tubing pressure of approximately 9,000 pounds per square inch. The well has been shut in and development plans are moving forward to bring the well on production. Occidental has a 100 percent working interest in the well."
