Your note speaks of a "god." Let us assume there is only one and God was lost in eternity alone. During God's solitary eternity, he developed a quirk or two and humankind was created during one of these quirky episodes. That would explain our imperfections. Even with our imperfections, God needs us and our prayers to keep him company. Considering his past bout with solitary eternity, God views us as better than nothing. We need God because we want to join him in eternity--considering the alternative. There you have it, a match made in heaven.
