| What point is that? That the rich are bad because they can afford to buy what they like? As long as it is fair exchange, both parties benefit. Paying your way is not the same as robbery. Even assuming that the rich inherited, and were "undeserving", is the good luck of some a reason for resentment? Brains, beauty, athletic ability, and other qualities are doled out unequally? Should we despise the intelligent, who, by and large, run the world, for "dominating" the mediocre or stupid? Or should we thank them for putting their brains to use for the common good, as is often the case. Similarly, the rich are a by- product of a productive economic system, and have their role in the general improvement of all....... |
