Hi Bearcatbob, Now for APC!

Finally something that has been bugging me since last year when APC
TD #4, Most of the people on the thread with good fishing buddies
were told that this well would probably flow somewhere in the
area of 10 to 20mmcf/d, and then APC did not want to test!
Yet they were willing to spend 8million to sidetrack and then not want to
test again ( GIVE ME A FRIGGING BREAK) WHY NOT JUST RELEASE
THE RIG LIKE THEY DID AND ASK FOR THEIR MONEY THEN?

XEN COMMENT: Thanks Mr. Robinson,
The operator's recommendation to postpone testing of the ELH #4
well and the subsequent botched attempt to set a routine cement plug
which, together, necessitated the drilling of a side track and
probably added more than US$8 million to the cost.

Biggest problem with ELH is there never seems to be a set game plan,
for example ordering site separation equipment and having it sit on site at
#1 without resolving the water issue which has been on going for a year.

NWLH#1 - Past 18,000ft. should get interesting around there now

#9 sitting in the middle of a mature orchard
(while we scratch our heads about WDW)

Water pond, looks even smaller than in the pic. with no trees around you don't
get real depth perception.

Water tank just below pond

Since APC took over, I have been amazed at how little has transpired in over a year
since my last visit, except for capital spending. As far as JOA go I think maybe it is
time to sit back as a group and let things cool off a bit, APC will not Bully anyone
into excepting anything that will squeeze the JV out as Don has said they must
protect their interests and that go's for the rest of the JV's. Yes pay your bills, but this
thing has dragged long enough from the operator end, maybe it's time to drag a little from the
other side? Let's be honest the first company to pick up HTP + KOB will be in the driver
seat my bet says OXY won't sit still for APC, DON'T THEY BOTH HAVE 16%, WOULD
NOT ANOTHER 16% PUT THAT COMPANY IN A POSSIBLE OPERATOR ROLE TILL
THE COURT CASE OR IN A POSITION TO BUY OUT THE OTHER?

Take care
Bob
