Texas Instrument Reaffirms Outlook

Boston, Apr 30, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Texas Instruments (TXN) is advancing today on 10,400 REDIBook shares after an executive reportedly reaffirmed current quarter sales expectations late Monday at a technology conference.
According to Reuters wire service, the executive said, "We think our semiconductor revenues will increase about 8 percent in the current quarter." He also affirmed the company expects overall revenue to increase 10 percent in the current quarter versus the previous period.
