That's a good sign, it shows he has some business sense, unlike Ebbers who took out a loan so he could avoid selling at a much higher price than today. <g>

The main question I have re WorldCom is this: Why would their creditors want to force them into bankruptcy with all the damage to their reputation and loss of customers that would inevitably result, and which would hurt the debt repayment ratio substantially. It's not as if they're bleeding cash, they're making money, which can be used to pay off creditors. If I were a creditor, I'd want them to stay in business, rebuild their rep, but hold capex to a minimum.
